Designed by Henry Dreyfus and put into service in 1937, the Western
Electric 302 is probably one of the most well known of the classic
phones. One of its nicknames is the "Lucy" phone because of its many
appearances on the "I Love Lucy" show. In the earlier days this phone
was made of steel. When the metal shortage of WWII hit in the early
1940's, Western Electric switched to plastic.
I offer this phone with your choice of a curl (pictured), straight, or cloth
handset cord. The cloth
cords are a reproduction of what the earliest original cords would
look like. This option is a $30 upgrade. You can make your selection
when placing your order.
The phone is completely restored, has a modular plug, and it looks and
works like new. All you need to do is plug it in and use it. For more
information on the restoration process,

Because of the growing trend of digital phone service, you may not be
able to dial out on this phone depending on who your phone provider
is. If this is a concern, I can build into the phone a digital
converter for an additional $60. This will make the phone fully
functional on digital phone services. |

$16.95 will be added for shipping.
